SKiiP® 2nd Level Tester
Our SKiiP® tester allows a preliminary decision whether a SKiiP® is still intact or most likely defective.
Originally designed for an inbound inspection of rejected units, the tester is more and more used for evaluation at the customer's site. An on-site inspection can avoid unnecessary work in the field. Time-consuming returns and downtime of systems can be minimized.
Due to the integrated, very sensitive measurement of the blocking behavior up to 170V, abnormalities in the characteristic semiconductor curve can be well predicted, without stressing the semiconductor to the limit of its blocking capability.

This SKiiP® Tester allows a preliminary decision whether a SKiiP ® is still intact or most likely defective.
In ist robust carry-case it is designed for use on site. In difference to the 2nd level Tester above it will test the primary side signals, only. It allows a decision without removal of SKiiP from DC-link. Time-consuming returns and downtime of systems can be minimized.
The SKiiP 1st Level Tester can test SKiiP3 and SKiiP4 primary side interface.
